Would you like to be a part of abrasiveMedia?

Here are some ways you can get involved:

 

• DONATE: We are in need in funding for both ongoing projects as well as the opening of the abrasiveMedia art center. Check out our kickstarter for more info on our physical location buildout. Or, here’s our paypal if you’d like to donate directly to abrasiveMedia.
• VOLUNTEER: We are in need of volunteers on a regular basis. Currently, we are looking for people with grant-writing skills (we are looking to begin writing for grants in the next month), bookkeeping, and help with promotions for events (all you need for this one is a lot of facebook friends/twitter followers).
• PARTNER WITH US FOR AN EVENT OR PROJECT: Have an idea? Email us at info@abrasivemedia.org. We’re always looking for new people to work with. We are still a small organization so we can’t say yes to everything, but if we can, we will!
• BECOME A RESIDENT ARTIST: Are you an artist with an idea that will require help from other artists, as well as assistance on the development/business end of things? We will be accepting applications for a limited number of residents beginning the first half of 2012. Also, we are actively recruiting board members for the next phase of abrasiveMedia’s growth. We need people who have strong backgrounds in the art, business development, or community leadership. If you would like to be considered, please submit your CV to info@abrasivemedia.org.
